Rissa Lavilla is a New York–based creative working across producing, management and development in theatre and film/TV.
Selected credits include NBCUniversal (Post Production / Producer), Lobsters International Theatricals (Producer & Casting), First You Dream Entertainment (Associate Producer), Nerds of Color (Writer), and Sunday Jump (Newsletter Writer).
Rissa is a member of the Recording Academy in the GrammyU cohort, and a 2024–2025 Recording Academy Mentee in Songwriting & Composing. She is currently a 2025–2026 Recording Academy Mentee in Entertainment Law. She is also a member of The Drama League and The Off-Broadway League.
Additional work includes independent producing for cabarets and new works, early-stage development, and collaboration with production and marketing teams across Broadway and Off-Broadway. Selected projects include Goodbye New York, The Trouble With Dead Boyfriends, White Rose, The Heart of Rock and Roll, Here Lies Love, and The Great Gatsby.
